Our principal purpose is promotion of the prevention or control of behaviour that is harmful or abusive to humans and which compromises any one or all of emotional, sexual or physical abuse or suicide and self-harm. We pursue this by addressing the harmful impact of pornography exposure and use on individuals, families, and church and school communities. We recognise the growing influence of sexualised media, pornography, and online environments that can exploit vulnerable people, and we are committed to offering practical, educational, and spiritual responses that promote safety, prevention, and healing.

The Resist Program contributes to the public good by reducing the harms of pornography on individuals, fostering group-based participation and support networks, and equipping local communities to address the broader impacts of pornography culture.
